  • Misspelling a particle name (e.g. ‘proton’ as ‘proton’ is fine, but ‘neutron’ as ‘neutron’ is wrong) Incorrect charge for the electron (writing +1 instead of –1) Forgetting to mention the nucleus as the location of most mass
