## Mark scheme (4 marks)

1. Gas particles move faster / have greater (average) kinetic energy at higher temperature
2. Particles collide with the walls of the container more frequently
3. Particles hit the walls with greater force
4. Greater force on the same area means greater pressure (since volume is unchanged)
