## Mark scheme (4 marks)

1. Poly(propene) is made by addition polymerisation
2. Nylon is made by condensation polymerisation
3. Propene monomers have a carbon–carbon double bond / are unsaturated; no small molecules are released during addition polymerisation
4. Nylon monomers each have two functional groups and a small molecule (water) is released during condensation polymerisation
