## Mark scheme (4 marks)

1. Fusarium is grown / cultured in fermentation vats
2. The product is high in protein
3. Mycoprotein can be produced without using large areas of land (compared to rearing animals / growing crops for meat)
4. Fusarium can be grown rapidly / production can be scaled up quickly to meet demand / meets food security needs without depleting natural resources
