## Mark scheme (4 marks)

1. Auxin moves away from the light / accumulates on the shaded side
2. Higher concentration of auxin on the shaded side
3. Auxin promotes/stimulates cell elongation
4. Shaded side elongates more / grows faster causing the shoot to bend towards the light
