# Describe the functions of four organelles found in a plant cell.

1. Nucleus — contains genetic material / controls the activities of the cell
2. Mitochondria — site of respiration / releases energy for the cell
3. Chloroplast — site of photosynthesis
4. Vacuole — stores cell sap / OR cell wall — strengthens the cell (one acceptable)
