1. Thermosoftening polymers have no cross-links between polymer chains
2. Thermosetting polymers have cross-links between polymer chains
3. Thermosoftening polymers soften / melt when heated and can be reshaped
4. Thermosetting polymers do not soften / melt when heated and cannot be reshaped
